Explore the power of meditation on physical health and bringing clarity to the mind.  Angel Wing offers free online meditations and reflective dialogues that will give you powerful techniques that can be used on a daily basis. (See the online schedule on the right)


WHAT IS MEDITATION?


Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness or focusing their mind on a particular object, thought or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm state.


Meditation has the following components:

a) Self-Regulation Practices

b) Training/regulation of one's attention/awareness

c) Gain greater voluntary control of mental processes, leading to better mental well being

d) Development of calmness, clarity, and concentration

e) Self-regulation of body and mind

e) Gaining of personal experiences of rest, silence, heightened alertness, and happiness.
